The installation is presented in the magnificent gardens of Marres House for Contemporary Culture in the context of ‘The Materiality of the Invisible’ exhibition, a show that exposes the work of 24 artists that approach contemporary art as an activity that shares characteristics of archaeology. Like archaeologists, they make the invisible visible. The exhibition is organized by the Jan Van Eyck in collaboration with Marres and Bureau Europa and spreads out over the three locations. Jan Van Eyck is a partner in the multi-year EU project NEARCH – New scenarios for a community-involved archaeology.
